quinnox is Hiring an Oracle PL/SQL Developer Near Chicago, IL
Oracle DBE with AWS
- Database development to support database schema/data/PL/SQL migrations
- Expertise in PL/SQL, collections and object oriented PL/SQL and SQL coding, tuning, and troubleshooting in all major versions of Oracle including 19c
- Expertise in Data Modeling concepts and Database design
- Experience in data and schema migration techniques and tools
- Experience with Application Development Support
- Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL coding standards and best practices
- SQL and PL/SQL code performance tuning knowledge
- Strong skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and find solutions to solving them independently in a timely manner
- Expertise in performance tuning of backend systems
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knowledge of Database Performance monitoring
- Exceptional understanding about Oracle Advance queuing concepts.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and AWS DB services including RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis Streams, Lambda.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Public clouds including AWS
- Experience with developing Unix/Linux/WIN Bat/Powershell scripts.
- Oracle, PostgreSQL and other database certifications are preferred.
- Proven experience of working in development projects
- Good end to end understanding of dev SDLC
- Experience of working in Agile Scrum
- Good communication skills.
- Prior experience of working in a US client facing role preferred.
